AACS security portals are equipped with Fire Alarm Override. In the event of a fire, both interior and exterior doors open for free passage. If security officers determine the fire alarm was used to cause a security breach, the fire alarm override is pushed, closing the doors, scanning the portal for presence, and causing a lockdown.
